My name is Aaron Crowther. CommsPro.me is my Blog for those interested in exploring communications strategy, brand and leadership. In it I also spend a lot of time writing about what is happening in the world of social media – perhaps the most important change for individuals and organisations in the digital age.

You may notice references to ASComms throughout. This relates to my initials and the Consultancy I founded in 2011. In 2019 that Consultancy became Loam Partners, a collective of experienced professionals who give clients the foundation to see their brands take root.

These musings are a blend of what I have read, what I have experienced, and what we believe. I try and glean from a variety of sources, so that material herein highlights the latest thinking from thought shapers in Australia, and around the world. I hope you enjoy the read!

More about me

With University Majors in Writing and Media Production, I began my career as a Journalist in 2000. After three years I transitioned into marketing with Post Graduate Studies in Business Administration and have since held a number of senior marcomms roles.

My career has engrained in me the importance of taking a holistic view of brand, communications, internal, external and via multiple channels, in order to cultivate engaged communities. I have worked both client side and within an agency environment – at Magnum & Co, Red Agency, Spectrum GroupEMC (Dell), Express Data (now Dicker Data), Canon, and as a journalist for News Corp, MonitorBusiness, and Printer Magazines. I have been published by B&T, on Mark Schaefer’s Blog – Grow, and by PR Week AsiaCampaign Asia named me in their acclaimed 40 Under 40 list of marketing leaders in the Asia Pacific region.
